I knew the wording on the poster behind Derek (which looks like it could have been painted by Stiles?) sounded familiar, and in fact it is the title of a song by the Beatles, “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

When I realized this I got randomly intense feelings about Stiles listening to The Beatles after his mother died, like it was the only thing that could relax him and bring his anxiety down. Maybe they were his mother’s favorite. Maybe that was her favorite song.

My headcanon was solidified by the placement of the poster in season two right behind a photo frame of two figures who could very well be a mother and a son.

This is honestly my favorite Thor moment. He has no idea what that thing is, where he is, what’s going on, but he’s eating pancakes, and the chick with the taser is pointing another electrical thing at him and there are faces on books, but he’s eating pancakes, and yea he’s knows he’s sexy, so yea, he’ll smile.

I kind of love Asgardians. Most people would be kind of miffed that someone hit them with a car twice and tasered them. He’s just like “SHE HAS BESTED ME IN COMBAT! LET US FEAST TOGETHER!”
and I can really get behind that.
